Friday, June 12 was the screening of “Off the Hook: Stories from Red Hook”. We had an audience of 15 people today, including one alum (Afsana) and two community members who were also interviewed for the documentaries in addition to twelve students. We snacked on key lime tarts donated by Steve’s Authentic in Red Hook, also a subject of one of the documentaries.
Many of you asked about the link to the films because you were unable to make it to the screening today. You can see all the videos here:
The students received a thank you package that included multiple copies of oral histories, a hand-written thank you note from the students who interviewed them, programs from Casco Bay’s screening on Monday night and a t-shirt commemorating the event.
What a great collaboration! Enjoy the videos.
