We’re so proud of our cheerleaders. The BCS Cheer Squad was a “hit” at the Brooklyn Rock & Roll Half-Marathon! Along with teacher Brittany, our team cheered for 4.5 hours this morning – what persistence! The girls (and their supporters) were up before the crack of dawn so they could be ready at our cheer site before 7am! Our cheer location was Prospect Park: East Drive & East Lake Drive/Lincoln Rd. We won third place out of the 10 schools who were honored with cheer spots: http://www.runrocknroll.com/brooklyn/the-weekend/entertainment/. So proud of our team spirit and cheer crew, and so proud of all the runners for persisting in their half marathon accomplishment!
