Every parent or guardian of a child attending Brooklyn Collaborative, BCS staff, administration, and teachers are members of the BCS PTA. There are no dues or forms to fill out.
All members are invited to join all PTA meetings and events.

Our Commitments to the BCS Community
The BCS PTA is committed to the following
- Support the school’s mission of progressive education, integration and social justice.
- Provide support and resources to BCS for the benefit and educational growth of the students.
- Promote and cultivate cooperative working relationships between the families of students and the teachers and staff at BCS.
- Develop leadership and build capacity for greater involvement.
- Foster and encourage family participation in our community.
- Provide opportunities and training for families to participate in school governance and decision-making.

The BCS PTA thrives on the generosity and support of our community, parents, family members, and friends like you.
Your contributions directly enable the PTA to work closely with Brooklyn Collaborative teachers, staff, and administration. Together, we ensure that every student has access to the resources and inclusive learning environment they need to succeed today and in the future.
This year, our PTA budget is approximately $150 per student.
We understand that every family’s financial situation is unique. That’s why we don’t require fixed membership dues. Instead, we invite you to reflect on your family’s circumstances and what fits in your budget.
When we all pitch in, we can all take pride in our collective impact!
