For the past few months, William’s Ecology class and Brittany’s Architectural Design class have been following the Gowanus Blue Schools curriculum and redesigning a space at BCS with green infrastructure to support the Gowanus watershed. This has been in partnership with the Gowanus Canal Conservancy.
Kaylee (Grade 9) chose our roof and won the award for Best Design Process. Noah (Grade 9) chose the current space where the dumpsters are and won the award for Most Transformative Design. They were both rockstars!
