Brooklyn Collaborative upper and lower grades Gender and Sexuality Alliances (GSA) organized a school-wide Day of Silence (DOS) on Friday, April 28th to bring awareness to the silencing effects of bullying for LGBTQ students and those perceived to be LGBTQ. Hundreds of students wore stickers and remained silent throughout the day to show support. At the end of the day, GSA members broke the silence together to celebrate a successful day.
