Grade 6 Admissions:

• We are part of the D15 Diversity Plan which designates a 52% priority of our Grade 6 seats for students with FRL (Free-Reduced Lunch), STH (Students in Temporary Housing), or MLL (Multi-Language Learner) status.
• We do not screen our applicants.
• Our school code is 15K448.
• We have ~90-100 Grade 6 seats.
• Students must reside in D15 or attend an elementary school in D15 to apply to BCS.

Grade 9 Admissions:

• We value academic diversity.  Students are matched to our Grade 9 using the DOE Educational Option (Ed Opt) model.  
• We are part of the DOE’s Diversity in Admissions program in Grade 9, with a 76% priority for our seats for students with FRL (Free-Reduced Lunch), STH (Students in Temporary Housing), or MLL (Multi-Language Learner) status.
• Our school code is K03R.
• We have ~110 Grade 9 seats (~60 for our own continuing Grade 8 students, and ~50 for new students).
