NOAA’s Office of Education recently officially announced the grant awards for Community Resilience to Extreme Weather Events and Environmental Hazards, and Brooklyn College was one of the recipients. Brooklyn Collaborative science staff have been working in partnership with Brooklyn College on the grant. Only 5 out of 170 applications were funded, so we are very excited to be involved. Our partnership will bring in more experts about resiliency to BCS classrooms.
