With the Rosh Hashanah holiday on Mon/Tues, we had a short week.
9/11 – Several of our students joined the Launch School Alumni Panel to talk about their high school experiences with the Launch 8th graders. We are proud that Launch and Brooklyn Collaborative are both in the NYCOB network!
Our library is bustling – during the school day and at lunch!
Classes are well underway!
ELA 11 students started off by watching Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s Ted Talk, engaging students in the importance of narrative and storytelling.
UG Drafting classes went outside to sketch in between pockets of rain!
Check out Grade 6 math doing collaborative teamwork exercises!
Art classes continued with Black Light painting and creating studio norms.
We’re excited about the Class of 2019 – this is your year!
And our Pre-K friends down at Brooklyn New School welcomed us back with this lovely sign.
