9/16 – Alg 2 students collected data to measure the rebound ratio of rubber balls.
9/16 – Architectural Drafting students sketched in the neighborhood with the theme of “I Spy…”
9/19 – Grade 6 students enjoyed a special visit to Photoville NYC Education Day 2019 in Brooklyn Bridge Plaza in DUMBO. What an incredible day to see the beauty and diversity in a wide cross section of the world’s photographic community!
9/20 – 7th grade scientists explored different objects to make qualitative and quantitative observations and inferences.
9/20 – Climate Action Everywhere! Proud of our students and families for their activism at the climate action event in Foley Square!
9/20 – City Planning Department Zero Waste engineer, Jahnvi Shah, joined the senior government class to support in-school students
on the day of the Student Climate Strike. Shah shared her work on
moving the city to doubling efforts to cut green gas emissions from
office buildings.

Algebra students worked in groups on qualities of different functions.
ELA 7 students researched and presented different aspects of the Amish culture to launch their dystopian book study of The Giver.
