Last Friday the 7th graders at BCS wrapped up their case study on the death penalty with a riveting debate. Students had a hook, a clear thesis, used a wide variety of evidence, explained and analyzed that evidence, and made connections. Students ownership over the work was so clear.
Students in the audience demonstrated persistence and open mindedness. Even at 3:00pm they were still at the edge of their seats reacting to the cross fire.
