The second Reading in the Round of the year was wonderful – the best ever! Families were treated to spoken word, art, poetry, and the creative minds of our students, including a dance performance from Ashley’s afterschool troupe, a coffeehouse with students sharing their personal narratives and self-portraits, a theater performance from Jessica’s afterschool theater program, and special guest DJs students Josiah and Juvonte! Special Guest Poet Tayllor Johnson read from her work and talked about her experiences as a student poet.
