Dear Brooklyn Collaborative Families,
We hope that you enjoyed a happy, healthy, relaxing, and heartfelt Thanksgiving with family and friends.
We wish to thank you for making our BCS Community Feast: A Circle of Thanks such a special evening of thanksgiving and community building. It was wonderful to see so many families, students, staff, and alumni come out and fill our cafeteria with celebration, laughter, warm conversation, and a bountiful medley of appetizing dishes and desserts.
Your spirited support and hearty applause for the student performers—Kori’s American Sign Theater classes signing to Gladys Knight’s rendition of Let There Be Peace On Earth, the YWCA After School’s Dance Club, The Eliminators, dancing to a pastiche of contemporary pop songs, and the BCS Cheerleaders leading us in rousing cheers robust with school pride—encouraged them and brought smiles to their faces.
We are forever thankful for your trust, support, and the ongoing ways in which you stand with us to make a difference in your child’s life and to live our school’s mission–one child at a time.
