We wanted to give a huge shout out to Adam, the 8th grade team and all the other staff who helped make our first ever BCS Lower Grades Winter Dance a HUGE success.
Over 100 students worked hard to be responsible for their own learning and to their community and had a blast! They danced the evening away, or, as 6th graders, played a raucous game of tag.
The gym was transformed with pine branch center pieces, a sweet station, a photo booth and more! A few seniors walking by after staying late in the college office and all exclaimed, “why didn’t we get to do this?”
A highlight was watching students exhibit kindness. They pulled everyone onto the dance floor and made sure no one was excluded from the hundreds of selfies taken.
A specific shout out to all these staff members who gave up their Friday evening to set up, chaperone and clean up the dance, including Adam, Candice, Tom, Christina T, Townsend, Fallon, Kia, Ron, Greg, Lauren, Jessica, Tracy, Denise, Nancy, Betsy, Christine P. GO BCS!!!
