11/28 – Students in 11th grade US History launched their websites on American Indian decolonization.  Stories of decolonization are not often told to the American public, and so this work is difficult but so important in telling a more accurate picture of American Indians as proud and active in their own fight for liberation.  Some examples of student websites are about mindfulness in healing historical trauma for Lakota people, casino gambling for the Oneida nation, Two-Spirit people of the Crow Nation, and lots of others.  We proudly encourage you to visit and share our students’ work: http://aidecolonization.org
