Happy Thanksgiving! A busy week to end November at BCS.
Staff shout outs for students representing our core values were put up – lots of pride in our amazing student body!
11/25 – We held our fall student panels, where selected students answered questions to support the growth and learning of teachers! Students spoke about topics ranging from pride in our school community, PupilPath, electronics policy, restorative practices and more.
11/25 – Connie Chi, founder of The Chi Group, the 2019 winner of NYC-based branding agency of the year, visited the internship seminar to share her view of business failure as business success.
11/25 – WNYC’s Jen Chung, founder of Gothamist, joined Stephen and Tamika’s government class to share her views on immigration and education reform news currently.
11/26 – The Afterschool Eliminators Dance Crew treated us to a lunch time performance!
11/27 – We had our annual Crewsgiving celebrations where our crews get together to show gratitude and make merry! Thanks to all the parents, students, and crew leaders who made our BCS tradition another smashing success!
