10/15 – Grade 8 ELA students shared their memoirs at their publishing party.

10/15 – Students in Internship enjoyed Career Chats with several staff members, talking about their different career pathways.

10/16 – Poet and intellectual Professor Celina Su, author of “Landia” joined Period 7 Government class to read and listen to poetry as well take Q&A on her writing process.

10/17 – The Mastery team (Adam, Brittany, Greg, Andrew, Magen, Scill) went to the Mastery Collaborative Quarterly to learn about mastery grading best practices at NYU.  We heard from guest speaker Paul Forbes on implicit bias.
